Mahalo for getting to know us. Here is my background.
I am Owner/Principal Broker of Island Pacific Properties,
your Key to Kauai. I became a Realtor in November 1995.
I worked at Island Pacific Properties and learned my trade
from the previous Owner/Principal Broker, Steve Faunce, R.
He was a good teacher, meticulous in every way. I obtained
my Brokers license 3 years later and have enjoyed the
cyclical real estate market on Kauai. It’s a different kind
of real estate than that of the mainland. Here you get to
know your clients and their family. The majorities of my
clients stop in when they are in town and visit with me.
There is Aloha (corny but true) in every transaction.
In 2000 my Broker decided to travel the world and sold me
the company. I’ve had 8 years of Owner/Principal Broker
experience and have learned a in this time. Mainly I’ve
learned to listen to what my clients want. What is their
strategy for obtaining their goals? And assisting them
towards their accomplishments.
As my Real Estate career has progress many of my clients have
bought their homes prior to their retirement date, or bought
their home as a second home. I have developed a working rapport
with them and a level of trust with them that when they call I
will check on their properties and advise them of anything out
of the ordinary that might be of a concern to them.
With this natural progression it has become clear that the Vacation
Rental Businesses are very available and well equipped to help those
with investment properties. I watched and listened to my clients
continue to struggle with the lack of consistent home maintenance
during their absence. It became apparent that they needed help.
That is why we are proud to offer our Second or Absentee home
owner service. Through my past management background I have
established excellent working relationships with all sorts of
repair people. Each with their own specialty. A wealth of talent
is available if you know where to find them and I do.
We welcome you to contact us so that we can talk about your
personal property. Homes need love too!
